Who We Are is a unique center that offers a preschool program within a home setting. Your child will receive all the benefits of a preschool structure, emphasizing in Kindergarten readiness, but in the warm setting of a Christian home. Because of the intimacy of a small group we are able to provide an enrichment program through developmentally appropriate curriculum, one on one teaching and special programs, all taught by teachers trained and educated in early childhood education.
Your child will be learning pre-reading, pre-math, science and language skills that prepare them for Kindergarten, along with special opportunities for Music and Woodworking class. We also teach Biblical Christian foundations as part of our daily curriculum. Our goal in this spiritual aspect of education is to introduce Bible stories and concepts on a toddler/preschool level. We also do Phonics with four and five year olds.
Last, but not least, our program offers tons of fun! We encourage discovery through art, science, nature, imagination and play!
We have part time and full time spots available for ages 2 -5 yrs.
We believe that the purpose of early childhood education is to teach young children about the world they live in. This, along with a Biblical perspective that God made each one of us unique and special, helps to provide the foundation of their self-concept. As teachers we see ourselves as facilitators to inspire creativity, discovery, and play. We believe that through these avenues all of a child’s relational, spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical needs can be met. We also believe, as teachers, that we serve as role models demonstrating love, acceptance, forgiveness and respect for others. We are responsive to each child’s individual needs and give them our respect and individual attention at all times.
Our Goal is to offer excellent education and care for children and families in our community. We are committed to providing a quality enrichment program in a loving and safe environment. Our number one concern is that your child leave here feeling happy and loved, yet, also challenged and confident.
